Job Description

Sigma Process Controls is a leading provider of high-quality industrial process equipment and solutions. We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage our day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in modern accounting software and responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts, ensuring compliance, and supporting the financial health of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting transactions and maintain the general ledger.
  • Handle comprehensive bookkeeping and financial reporting using Zoho Books.
  • Utilize Practo software for managing specific business operations and related accounting.
  • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and handle TDS computations and filings.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable/receivable.
  • Ensure timely payments to vendors and follow up on customer receivables.
  • Assist in preparing monthly profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Manage payroll processing and ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI).
  • Support in internal audits and maintain organized physical and digital financial records.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
  • Technical Skills (Mandatory):
  • Proficiency in Zoho Books is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with Practo software is required.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other accounting standards.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Personal Skills:
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
  • Good communication skills in English and Tamil.

  • Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
