As one of the first two IPEs recognized by IBBI, AAAIP has developed a reputation for its expertise in handling Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) and liquidation matters. With a team of 25 designated partners and 50 associate partners, AAAIP is the largest IPE in India, managing over 350 CIRP and liquidation assignments. Our firm has a wide presence across India, with offices in major cities and operational teams at various locations.

Job Profile: Legal Associate - CIRP Team

Qualification: Law Graduate / CS / CMA

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in CIRP, liquidation, or legal processes.

Job Description:

AAAIP is seeking an experienced legal associate to join our CIRP team. This role requires providing critical support in the administrative, legal, and procedural aspects of CIRP and liquidation cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), rules and regulations, and CIRP processes, including other relevant laws.
  • Conducting claim verification, managing the process of COC meetings, drafting meeting minutes, and collaborating with COC members, various professionals, and lawyers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely filings with the IBBI, NCLT, and other regulatory authorities.
  • Draft legal notices, agendas, minutes, and compliance documentation.
  • Stay updated on legislative changes, regulatory amendments, and relevant case law, offering insights on their implications.
  • Assist in defending CIRP-related litigations, including those involving preferential, undervalued, and fraudulent transactions.

Skills Required:

  • Strong procedural knowledge of CIRP processes.
  • Expertise in drafting legal documents such as notices, minutes, agendas, and compliance reports.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage and prioritize a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities.
