Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region for the position of Head of Product. The Head of Product will be responsible for leading the product strategy, overseeing end-to-end product management, conducting market research to identify customer needs, and improving the product portfolio. The role includes driving the team towards delivering profitable and innovative solutions, collaborating across departments, and ensuring the alignment of product goals with overall business objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Product Strategy and Product Management to lead the development and delivery of products successfully.
- Proficiency in Market Research to identify market trends and customer needs, and Analytical Skills to derive actionable insights from data.
- Exceptional Communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience leading teams, providing strategic direction, and overseeing product lifecycles.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic business environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Previous experience in a leadership product role is preferred.

The Product Head is responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for fintech products and services. This role involves overseeing product development from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals, customer needs, and regulatory requirements. The Product Head collaborates closely with technology, operations, compliance, and marketing teams to deliver innovative and scalable fintech solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Vision:
o Define and own the overall product vision and long-term strategy.
o Identify market opportunities and translate them into actionable product roadmaps.
o Ensure the product aligns with the company's business objectives and growth targets.

Product Development & Execution:
o Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle — from concept, design, and development to launch and post-launch analysis.
o Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer needs, ROI, and business impact.
o Work closely with engineering and design teams to deliver seamless user experiences.

Market & Customer Insights:
o Conduct competitive analysis, user research, and market assessments.
o Use data analytics and customer feedback to refine products and drive adoption.

Stakeholder Management:
o Collaborate with internal stakeholders including sales, marketing, operations, and compliance.
o Present product plans, progress, and performance metrics to senior leadership and investors.

Regulatory & Compliance Alignment:
o Ensure products adhere to RBI, NPCI, and data privacy guidelines.
o Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to maintain regulatory readiness.

Innovation & Growth:
o Identify emerging fintech trends (e.g., UPI, digital lending, BNPL, neo-banking, embedded finance) and lead product innovation.
o Foster a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision-making within the product team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
· years of product management experience, preferably in fintech or BFSI.
· Proven track record of building and scaling digital financial products.
· Strong understanding of APIs, payments infrastructure, digital banking, and customer experience.
· Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
