Job Objective:

We are looking for a
creative and passionate Video Editor
who can produce
high-quality short-form content
(especially Reels, YouTube Shorts, and promotional clips) for our brand. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in
video editing, content writing, and social media storytelling
— with a strong sense of timing, transitions, and visual impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, edit, and deliver
    short videos, reels, and social media clips
    that align with the brand's tone and goals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to
    develop creative concepts and storyboards
    .
  • Write
    captions, hooks, and short scripts
    for reels and promotional videos.
  • Add
    text overlays, effects, transitions, and background music
    to enhance engagement.
  • Edit raw footage into
    engaging, fast-paced content
    suitable for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and other platforms.
  • Ensure consistency in
    style, colors, and brand tone
    across all visual content.
  • Stay updated with
    social media trends, audio trends, and editing styles
    to make content more viral.
  • Manage video storage, backup, and file organization efficiently.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in
    Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve
    , or similar tools.
  • Basic knowledge of
    motion graphics
    using After Effects or Canva (preferred).
  • Good understanding of
    aspect ratios, transitions, pacing, and sound sync
    for short-form content.
  • Strong sense of
    visual storytelling, aesthetics, and rhythm
    .
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with the creative/marketing team.
  • Creativity and adaptability to experiment with
    new trends and formats
    .
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Media, Film, Visual Communication, or related field
    (preferred).
  • 1–3 years
    of proven experience in short-form video creation and editing.
  • Portfolio or links to past work (Reels, Shorts, Brand Videos)
    must be shared
    during application.
  • Content writing or social media copy experience will be a strong advantage.

Tools & Platforms Knowledge (Preferred):

  • Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / CapCut / Canva
  • Adobe After Effects (for motion graphics)
  • Photoshop or Illustrator (for thumbnails, graphics, and posts)
  • Instagram, YouTube, Facebook Reels, and TikTok trends
