Job Purpose:
To support the Sales Manager/Branch Manager in driving sales performance, managing client relationships, and ensuring achievement of revenue and growth targets. The role involves supervising the sales team, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to branch/business growth.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and customer engagement.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat business.
- Team Support & Supervision
- Assist the Sales Manager in monitoring and guiding the sales team.
- Motivate, train, and support junior sales executives in achieving their targets.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, sales processes, and reporting standards.
Client Relationship Management - Conduct regular client visits and follow-ups to build long-term relationships.
- Address customer queries, complaints, and provide timely resolutions.
- Negotiate and close deals with clients effectively.
- Market Analysis & Reporting
- Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends to support business strategy.
- Prepare and share daily/weekly/monthly sales reports with management.
- Provide inputs to management on product performance and market demand.
- Operational Support
- Assist in planning and execution of promotional campaigns and sales events.
- Ensure smooth coordination between sales, operations, and finance for order processing and collections.
- Monitor receivables and follow up for timely payment collection.

- Ability to lead, motivate, and support a sales team.
- Customer-focused approach with problem-solving ability.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration / Marketing.
- 4-8years of sales experience preferably in [Steel Industry)
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in handling client relationships and team coordination.
