As part of our expansion in Bangalore, we are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition, build strategic partnerships, and establish Moptras presence in the region.
Role & Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Relationship Building
- Identify, connect, and engage with CXOs, IT Heads, and Procurement leaders in Bangalore.
- Build long-term client relationships for IT Services, IT Support, and Consulting opportunities.
Sales & Pipeline Management
- Drive the end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting meetings proposals negotiations closures.
- Generate qualified leads through networking, corporate connects, LinkedIn outreach, and industry events.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and ensure accurate CRM reporting.
Go-to-Market & Business Growth
- Develop and execute Moptras go-to-market strategy for Bangalore.
- Position Moptras offerings across focus areas such as Digital Commerce, Cloud, AI, and IT Outsourcing.
- Work with procurement teams for vendor empanelment and RFP submissions.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to craft tailored solutions and proposals.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor industry trends, competitor movements, and client needs to provide actionable insights.
- Contribute to building Moptras brand visibility in the Bangalore IT ecosystem.
Mindset
- Self-driven, entrepreneurial, target-oriented, and comfortable working independently as Moptras first sales lead in Bangalore.

Role Details
- Location: Bangalore (field-based, client-facing).
- Work Mode: Full-time, Onsite (with flexibility for travel within Bangalore and occasional intercity travel).
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience: 612 years in IT Services / Consulting Sales Business Development.
- Network: Strong connects in Bangalore with CXOs, IT leadership, and procurement decision-makers.
- Domain Knowledge: Exposure to selling Digital Commerce, Cloud, AI, or IT Outsourcing solutions is a strong plus.
- Sales Track Record: Proven ability to close new business and achieve revenue targets.
