Role Summary

KPMG is seeking an experienced SAP CAPM Consultant with ABAP expertise to support enterprise-scale transformation and modernization initiatives for global clients.

The role focuses on developing scalable extensions, services, and integrations using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) along with ABAP on S/4HANA / RAP, supporting cloud-native and clean core strategies.

Key Responsibilities


• Design and develop cloud-native applications using SAP CAPM / Java) on SAP BTP.


• Develop and enhance ABAP objects in S/4HANA / ECC, including:

CDS Views

OData Services

Enhancement Framework

RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)

BADI / User Exits / Enhancements


• Build integrations between CAP services and S/4HANA using OData and APIs.


• Develop and consume REST APIs and event-driven services.


• Implement microservices architecture using CAP and deploy on SAP BTP.


• Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and convert them into scalable technical solutions.


• Support S/4HANA extension scenarios using Side-by-Side and Embedded Extension approaches.


• Build Fiori applications using SAP UI5 / Fiori elements integrated with CAP services.


• Implement clean core principles and support SAP extension strategy.


• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT and go-live activities.


• Provide technical documentation, solution design, and deployment support.

Required Skills & Experience

CAPM / SAP BTP Skills


• Strong hands-on experience with SAP CAPM / Java).


• Experience in developing services using CDS modeling and service definitions.


• Experience deploying CAP-based applications on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry / Kyma.


• Good experience with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS).


• Strong knowledge of SAP HANA (HDI containers, schemas, CDS artefacts).


• Experience with SAP Integration (OData, REST, Event Mesh, SAP Integration Suite).

• Strong experience in ABAP on S/4HANA:

• Understanding of S/4HANA Extensibility framework.
