Job Description
We are seeking a skilled
SAP UI5 & CAPM Developer
with hands-on experience in developing applications using
SAP Business Application Studio (BAS)
. The ideal candidate will work on building, enhancing, and maintaining UI5 front-end applications and CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model) services within SAP BTP.

The resource should be capable of handling end-to-end development activities, collaborating with functional teams, and ensuring seamless deployment across environments. The role involves developing responsive UI screens, OData services, business logic, and integrating UI5 apps with CAPM back-end services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain SAP UI5 applications using BAS.
  • Build CAPM-based applications including data models, business logic, and service layers.
  • Integrate UI5 applications with CAPM OData/REST services.
  • Work on SAP BTP for application deployment, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure UI5 apps comply with Fiori design guidelines and best UX practices.
  • Handle application configuration, version control, and transport across environments.
  • Collaborate with technical and functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Perform debugging, performance tuning, and enhancements as required.

Required Skills (Mandatory)

  • Strong experience in SAP UI5 application development.
  • Hands-on expertise in CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model) development.
  • Proficiency working in SAP Business Application Studio (BAS).
  • Good knowledge of OData services, REST APIs, and backend integration.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, , and modern web standards.
  • Experience with Git or other version control tools.
  • Ability to build, test, and deploy applications on SAP BTP.

Good To Have Skills

  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori design patterns and UX guidelines.
  • Experience with SAP HANA database, schema modeling, and CDS views.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines in SAP BTP.
  • Understanding of Cloud Foundry environment.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
  • SAP certifications in UI5, BTP, or CAPM (added advantage).
