Senior Executive- Payment Processing (Accounts Payable)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented
Senior Executive – Payment Processing

to manage end-to-end vendor payments under the Accounts Payable function. The ideal candidate should have a experience in payment execution, hands-on experience with
SAP

. This role demands a high level of accuracy, control awareness, and excellent communication to manage internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

·       
Process and execute timely and accurate vendor payments

(domestic or international) in compliance with payment terms and internal controls.

·       Generate payment proposals and perform payment runs in
SAP

, ensuring correct bank details, currency, and payment methods are used.

·       Coordinate with treasury/banking teams for fund disbursements and ensure proper tagging of payments in ERP.

·       Validate payment documentation for completeness, approvals, and tax compliance.

·       Handle urgent and ad-hoc payment requests with proper validation and escalation protocols.

·       Support in
vendor reconciliations

and resolve open items related to payments and credit notes.

·       Ensure compliance with SOX/internal audit requirements and maintain audit-ready documentation for all processed payments.

·       Communicate with users and business teams to resolve payment-related queries effectively.

·       Monitor and manage open items in the payment queue and aging of payables to avoid delays or duplicate payments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

·       B.Com (mandatory), MBA (Finance) or M.Com preferred

· years in payment processing within Accounts Payable

·       Strong SAP experience (payment modules)

·       Good hand on experience in Excel.

·       Exposure to international/domestic payments.

·       Excellent communication and analytical skills
