We are hiring a Government Account Manager to join our team

As part of our growing team, you will play a crucial role in driving our business in the public sector. You will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships within government organizations, with a focus on concept selling, tender processes, and effective handling of government procedures. This position requires excellent communication skills, experience with government protocols, and an ability to navigate complex environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Concept Selling & Solution Design
    : Understand client requirements, develop tailored solutions, and present complex concepts in a clear, compelling manner to government stakeholders.
  • Government Tender Management
    : Navigate the full lifecycle of tender processes, from identifying opportunities to preparing bids and coordinating the submission of required documents.
  • Relationship Building
    : Engage with senior government officials, ministers, and decision-makers to foster strong relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Document Management
    : Efficiently move files and documents through necessary government channels, ensuring compliance with required processes and timelines.
  • Process Adherence
    : Ensure adherence to government procurement procedures, guidelines, and legal requirements during all stages of the project cycle.
  • Project Tracking & Coordination
    : Manage multiple projects simultaneously, track their progress, and communicate updates to internal teams and government contacts.
  • Stakeholder Communication
    : Regularly interact with government officials and internal teams to ensure alignment of expectations, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Industry Knowledge & Advocacy
    : Stay updated on relevant government policies, industry trends, and regulations to position the company as a leader in public sector solutions.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in government account management, tender handling, and concept selling.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with government ministers, officials, and senior leadership.
  • In-depth understanding of government procurement processes, compliance requirements, and legalities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving ability, with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to navigate complex government environments and drive successful outcomes.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working within the government sector in [specific area of focus, e.g., technology, infrastructure, education, etc.].
