Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Manager located in Pune. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's procurement processes. Day-to-day tasks include supplier identification and evaluation, managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials. The role also involves monitoring inventory levels, analyzing market trends, and ensuring procurement activities align with the company's budget and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities and be adept at coordinating with multiple stakeholders to optimize supply chain operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in supplier identification, evaluation, and relationship management
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management
  • Knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes
  • Leadership abilities and excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with market trends and supply chain optimization
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector is a plus
