Job Title: Regional Head – Human Resources

Department: Human Resources

Position Summary

The Regional Head – Human Resources is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the HR strategy, culture, and operational excellence across multiple business units or regions. The role ensures alignment between business objectives and people initiatives, strengthening organizational capability, talent development, and employee engagement. This position serves as a strategic advisor to leadership, overseeing end-to-end HR functions with a focus on consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Planning
  • Formulate and implement regional HR strategies in alignment with organizational goals.

    • Partner with business and functional leaders to support workforce planning, organizational development, and succession management.

    • Drive initiatives that foster a high-performance, values-driven culture.

    • Provide thought leadership on evolving HR trends and organizational effectiveness.
Talent Management & Workforce Development
  • Oversee talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent across all levels.

    • Guide manpower planning, hiring forecasts, and process improvements in recruitment.

    • Drive learning, capability-building, and leadership development programs.

    • Promote internal mobility and career-growth opportunities within the organization.
Employee Engagement & Culture
  • Lead regional engagement initiatives to strengthen inclusion, collaboration, and morale.

    • Ensure consistency in employee experience across sites and teams.

    • Champion recognition programs and communication strategies that reinforce company values.
Compensation, Compliance & HR Operations
  • Oversee compensation structures, payroll accuracy, and benefits administration.

    • Ensure adherence to statutory and company compliance requirements.

    • Review HR analytics, dashboards, and reports for data-driven decision-making.

    • Identify and implement process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Performance & Change Management
  • Lead performance-management cycles, ensuring clarity of goals, fair evaluations, and constructive feedback.

    • Support change-management programs and organizational restructuring with transparency and empathy.

    • Collaborate with leadership to identify and retain high-potential talent.
Key Skills & Competencies
  • Strategic HR leadership with proven experience managing multi-location operations.

    • Strong business acumen and ability to translate organizational goals into people priorities.

    • Expertise in workforce analytics, HR systems, and data-driven decision-making.

    • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.

    • Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change and cultural alignment.

Qualifications & Experience
  • MBA / Master's degree in Human Resources or related discipline.

    • Minimum 18 years of progressive HR experience with strong exposure to regional or corporate leadership.

    • Proven record in HR strategy, operations, and transformation across diverse business environments.

    • Experience in multinational or cross-cultural organizations preferred.
