Role Summary:
The
Customer Success Manager
will lead collaborations and relationship-building initiatives with startups, incubators, research institutes, and biopharma companies. This role focuses on creating new growth opportunities, fostering partnerships, and expanding the MTOR footprint across India's innovation ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and onboard new partners — startups, accelerators, academic institutes, and Biopharma players.
- Negotiate and formalize partnership agreements and collaboration models.
- Build strong client engagement programs and relationship management frameworks.
- Develop proposals, strategic alliances, and joint marketing initiatives.
- Represent MTOR in industry events, investor forums, and networking platforms.
- Coordinate with internal teams (technical, marketing, and operations) for seamless partnership execution.
- Track partnership performance metrics and report progress to leadership.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Should be Masters/M-Tech/phD in Bioprocess/Biotechnology Strong business acumen and relationship-building ability.
- Excellent networking and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Biotech/CGT ecosystem, incubation programs, and startup dynamics.
- Negotiation, strategic planning, and project coordination expertise.
Experience:
- 3-4 years in business development, alliance management, or corporate partnerships in Life Sciences / Biopharma sectors.
- Experience working with research institutions, biotech parks, or government programs is a plus.
Performance Indicators:
- Number of partnerships and collaborations initiated.
- Client retention and revenue from partner networks.
- Event participation and networking outcomes.
