Gurgaon, Haryana, India Naehas Full time US$ 1,25,000 - US$ 1,75,000 per year

Product Manager

Gurugram, India

About Naehas

Join a pre-IPO, fast-paced, rapidly growing software as a service company based in Silicon Valley. Naehas is automating omnichannel marketing for some of the largest consumer brands in the world. Our customers include four of the top six banks and market leaders in media, communication, and insurance.

 About the Position

As a Product Manager at Naehas, you will join our fast-paced Product team responsible for the definition of our marketing automation software, for our global customers and internal business stakeholders. Our Product Managers interact regularly with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, User Experience Design, Customer Success, and Finance. You will work on and execute a product strategy based on your experience and both internal and external inputs. You will be held accountable for meeting the company's broader set of goals and your product OKRs.

You must possess an effective blend of interpersonal skills, business acumen, and technical savviness. You will work with cross-functional teams including business users, sales, customer success, developers, designers, QA, Ops, and other product managers.

You must be able to put yourself in the shoes of the user and advocate for their needs. Success is based on features or product releases that delight the end-user and generate substantial value for the customer business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire feature life cycle from market analysis through strategy development, requirements gathering, development, successful adoption by users, and go-to-market.
  • Work with R&D organizations driving product requirements and ensuring timely release of products and solutions, managing the complete life cycle of products/services.
  • Manage the overall cross-product backlog for specific product areas, drive alignment across teams, and communicate status and progress.
  • Gather requirements by working closely with internal and external users.
  • Understand market trends and key competitors. Clearly state the business need that the feature will address and the value that it will deliver.
  • Clearly identifying key user roles and how their needs may differ.
  • Vetting the requirements with the rest of the Product team and client teams so that we develop general-purpose features, not the ones that only meet the needs of one client.
  • Use case articulation. Deep understanding and clear articulation of current user workflows (as-is). Clear articulation of planned functionality and how it will be used (to-be).
  • Make sure that the to-be workflow is well thought out and simulated as early as possible in order to identify feature design gaps.
  • Be responsible for finding the right solution that meets user needs, fits well with the overall direction of the product and optimizes the value to users and to Naehas.
  • Take requirements to a technical design by working with the engineering team
  • Articulate the overall solution and review it with your scrum team.
  • Log high-level issues in support of that design but allow development team members to flesh out the technical details when appropriate.
  • Propose low-fidelity and high-fidelity mockups working with a UX designer
  • Work with the QA member of your scrum team to ensure the quality of features before sprint-end as well as a plan for immediate test automation.
  • Create deployment and detailed adoption plans with each client team.

Skills:

  • Having a strong sense of personal integrity
  • Paying unwavering attention to delivering exceptional user experiences
  • Demonstrating curiosity and a drive to explore various approaches and consistently strive for improvement
  • Possessing a solid understanding of technology and its practical applications
  • Displaying active listening skills to truly comprehend the needs and concerns of others
  • Attending to details with precision while keeping the broader context in mind
  • Flourishing in uncertain environments and excelling at problem-solving
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Being proactive and working independently

Our Ideal Candidate will have the following experience:

  • You have a solid understanding of the enterprise software market
  • You are comfortable being hands-on in a fast-moving and rapidly changing environment
  • You are able to articulate the value proposition/story at varying depth depending upon the audience
  • You possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, and a big picture vision
  • You are proficient with product management and agile processes
  • You are quick learner, self-starter, and good communicator
  • You have radical thinking paired with strong execution; can envision a different world and can articulate a clear path to get there

Requirements

Required Qualifications, Skills, & Experience:

  • 5-8 years as a Product Manager for a B2B enterprise software company
  • Demonstrated capacity to learn as well as ability to operate independently, to effectively drive execution to achieve goals without direct authority
  • Demonstrated ability to set clear and deliverable goals, balance multiple projects at once and adhere to deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to influence others.
  • Experience and familiarity with Cloud services
  • Hands-on experience with deploying enterprise-level software is a plus
  • Experience in customer service or marketing is a plus
  • Computer Science or other BSc degree is a plus
