Job Title:
Advisor – Government, Policy & Taxation Affairs

Location: Noida, Sector 58 (On-site)

Department: Corporate Strategy, Government & Finance Relations

Reporting To: Managing Director / Chairman

Job Purpose:

To provide strategic guidance, policy insight, financial compliance, and government liaison support to Bharat Ecofuels Pvt. Ltd. in the areas of renewable energy, biofuels, CBG, EV, and sustainable business operations — with a strong focus on GST, taxation, and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Government Liaison & Policy Support

Maintain strong relationships with government departments, ministries, and PSUs.

Facilitate approvals, licensing, and compliance processes efficiently.

Keep management updated on new government policies, subsidies, and incentives in the energy sector.

Regulatory, GST & Income Tax Compliance

Oversee compliance with MNRE, PESO, and Pollution Control Board guidelines.

Advise on GST filings, returns, and input credit management.

Guide the company on Income Tax obligations, TDS, and corporate taxation.

Ensure accurate financial documentation and audit readiness.

Advisory & Strategic Planning

Advise management on national energy policies and fiscal reforms impacting renewables.

Draft MoUs, proposals, and government representations.

Mentor the internal team on compliance ethics and administrative discipline.

Public Relations & Representation

Represent Bharat Ecofuels at government meetings, industry summits, and policy discussions.

Strengthen the company's brand and credibility across renewable energy and biofuel sectors.

Reporting & Documentation

Submit monthly reports covering policy updates, tax compliance, and recommendations.

Maintain confidentiality of all financial and governmental interactions.

Required Profile:

Retired
IAS / PCS / Senior Government Officer
with experience in Finance, Energy, or Taxation.

Deep understanding of government functioning, GST law, and Income Tax compliance.

Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, and policy drafting.

Preference to those with prior exposure in Petroleum, Biofuels, or Renewable Energy sectors.

Compensation:

Negotiable Monthly Retainership / Honorarium basis

Additional Travel & Communication Allowances for official engagements
