About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join a leading construction and infrastructure team in Canada. The role involves overseeing large-scale civil engineering projects, ensuring structural safety, quality, and compliance with international standards. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and the ability to lead technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and manage civil engineering projects including buildings, infrastructure, and utilities.
  • Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering teams.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and structural inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with safety codes, legal regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
  • Prepare project documentation and progress reports for stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • 5-7+ years of proven experience in civil engineering projects.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • Open to relocating to Canada.
