
Export Documentation Executive

Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Export Documentation Executive – Air to manage and oversee the preparation and execution of export documentation for air shipments. The role involves coordinating with the team and preparing checklist with regards to customs and forwarding it to the exporters for approval and to ensure smooth handling of export consignments in compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and process all export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, airway bills, certificates of origin, etc.) in accordance with shipping requirements.
- Verify compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and export control laws.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation for audit and reference.
- Track and monitor shipments, providing timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Handle post-shipment documentation, including bank submissions under LC (Letter of Credit) and payment follow-ups when required.
- Resolve documentation discrepancies and liaise with relevant parties for corrective actions.
- Support the logistics and operations team in ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in export documentation, preferably in air freight.
- Strong knowledge of air cargo operations, Incoterms, export procedures, and international trade compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with ERP/logistics software.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of Letter of Credit (LC) documentation handling is an advantage.
