Role & responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure including VPCs, EC2 instances,

S3 buckets, CloudFront distributions, and AWS WAF.

Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for repeatable,

version-controlled deployments.

Automate configuration management and deployments using Ansible.

Ensure infrastructure adheres to security, compliance, and governance best practices.

Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and application

deployment.

Optimize AWS resource usage for cost efficiency and performance.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive

improvements.

Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and security teams to ensure scalable, secure, and

resilient infrastructure.

Maintain documentation for infrastructure architecture, processes, and deployments.

Preferred candidate profile

5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or cloud operations.

Strong expertise in AWS core services:

oNetworking (VPC, subnets, NAT gateways, security groups)

oCompute (EC2, Auto Scaling, Load Balancers)

oStorage (S3, lifecycle policies, encryption)

oContent delivery & security (CloudFront, WAF, IAM, KMS)

Proficiency in Terraform (HCL) for IaC.

Hands-on experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.

Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration and shell scripting.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and source control (Git).

Solid understanding of cloud security best practices.

Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).

Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, Grafana).

Familiarity with serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway).

Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect / SysOps Administrator /

DevOps Engineer.
