About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with around 2+ years of hands-on experience to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems and APIs that power our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and deploy robust backend services and APIs.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
  • Maintain proper documentation of code and systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in backend development.
  • Proficiency in backend language/framework such as: Python / Django / Flask, Fastapi.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database design.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
  • Basic understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, PyTest, JUnit, etc.).
