Job Duties

With general autonomy, provides leadership and direction for two or more Programs. Supervises, either directly or indirectly, supervisors and/or team leaders and provides general input into project plans and execution. Contributes to the strategic direction with regard to the program management process, work force staffing, maintenance of Program Management competencies, Program budgeting; insures the strategic direction is in alignment with overall organization and Product Service Line (PSL) direction. Initiates, prioritizes and justifies various projects, processes and/or initiatives supporting strategic direction. Manages performance of staff by selecting, conducting performance appraisals, coaching and mentoring for career and skills development. May lead or initiate cross functional, cross department or cross center teams in developing, prioritizing and justifying various corporate projects, excellence projects, research projects, PSL projects and/or initiatives (e.g., standards, best practices, enabling technologies). Possesses broad understanding of business aspects and associated technology of the PSL. The Program Manager is an advocate for reliability initiatives, the use of project management techniques, and the Halliburton product development process. This job role has budgetary type of accountabilities or directly impacts a revenue center&aposs viability of it&aposs quality of service via personal contributions. Completion of an undergraduate degree in Technical, Engineering, or Business required. Minimum of 8 years of experience in Program Management and management experience. Three years demonstrated proficiency in program management.
