Senior Associate- Generalist

Lumenci is a legal tech startup founded by a group of IIT alumni in the US. Lumenci's mission is to transform the legal and intellectual property industry in US & Europe with groundbreaking products and services. We are currently looking to build an exceptionally strong technical team in Gurgaon, India, to help us deliver high-quality products and services to our clients. Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide technology consulting services to law firms and corporate clients.
• Analyze patent portfolios and solve core technical queries by understanding underlying technologies.
• Offer strategic technical advice on patent matters to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align patent strategy with business goals.
• Demonstrate proficiency in at least one of the following domains: Telecom, Semiconductor, Hi-tech, Multimedia, AI-ML, or Cloud computing.
• Demonstrate familiarity with IP service lines such as prior art searches, freedom-to-operate (FTO) analysis, invalidity/validity studies, infringement mapping, patent landscape analysis, claim charting, and patentability assessments.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of relevant architectures, standards, and protocols within the chosen domain(s).
• Have hands-on experience in implementing or working with real-world systems, products, or solutions in the chosen domain(s).
• Show proficiency in analyzing system designs, performance metrics, and technology trends.
• Possess in-depth understanding of applicable industry standards, compliance frameworks, and emerging technologies.
• Lead teams in conducting research and analysis, including but not limited to technology research.
• Explain complex technological matters to non-technical audiences.
• Handle calls with US-based clients, including industry experts, corporate counsel, CEOs, startup founders, IP litigators, etc.
• Showcase technology thought leadership through blogs and research reports.
• Collaborate across the organization in-person and with virtual, global teams.
• Establish and cultivate relationships both internally and externally.

Education and Experience

• BTech/M.Tech in Computers, Electronics, Communications, Electrical Engineering, or related fields from premier colleges such as IITs, BITS, and NITs will be preferred.
• 4–8 years of experience in telecom, semiconductor, hi-tech, multimedia, or cloud computing industries.
