Job Title: Active Directory Administrator / Migration Specialist (Contract 6 Months)

Job Location: Mumbai (Work from Office Only)

Job Description

We are looking for skilled Active Directory Administrators with strong expertise in Active Directory administration and migration using the Quest Migration Manager (QMM) tool. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing, migrating, and maintaining AD environments and associated infrastructure components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage Microsoft Active Directory environments.
  • Perform migration of Active Directory roles and trusts.
  • Create, manage, and delete AD trust relationships.
  • Deploy and manage Quest Migration Manager for Active Directory (QMM).
  • Deploy QMM agents on workstations and servers for migration activities.
  • Ensure proper configuration of network ports required for server and domain controller communication.
  • Manage replication of AD objects between source and destination domains.
  • Migrate Group Policy Objects (GPOs) efficiently.
  • Create and manage PowerShell scripts for bulk creation, modification, or deletion of AD objects and attributes.
  • Administer and maintain DNS and AD Sites and Services.
  • Manage AD replication across multiple locations.
  • Demonstrate solid understanding of TCP/IP concepts (IP Addressing, Subnet Mask, Gateway, DHCP, DNS).
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for build, migration, and decommission processes.
