Lead Software Configuration Analyst's role primary objective is to lead and develop a team of Software Configuration Analysts to enable them to fulfil their objectives of delivering exceptional customer service and high quality solutions to customers on the use of software products and services . The team lead should maintain a stimulating environment with a strong focus on learning and development. Typically this will involve managing resources and workload whilst being the point of escalation for team members and customers escalated issues. Performance manage the team of configuration analysts as well as mentoring and coaching the team. Work with stakeholders in the business to ensure outcomes are successfully achieved. Expected to work well in a team environment as well as under minimal supervision. Supporting the Software Configuration manager and deputising as necessary.

Job Description:

Meeting with stakeholders and clients to determine requirements. 
Assist in the configuration of software applications based on business requirements. 
Plan and execute assigned configuration tasks within deadlines. 
Develop configuration requirements document and obtain approval from business owners. 
Analyse and resolve configuration issues in a timely manner. 
Provide system configuration support based on changing business needs. 
Providing support and mentoring to junior and software configuration analysts as required. . 
Performance manage team and conduct performance reviews.. 
Technical and/or application expertise. Being a subject matter expert in specialist areas or the application. 
Develop and maintain knowledge and skills and keep up to date with new processes, procedures and developments 
Service awareness of all the organisations business areas, drivers, structures and priorities including SLA and KPI's performance.
