1. Data Collection & Management

  • Gather daily, weekly, and monthly financial data from various departments.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
  • Update ledgers, journals, and financial statements in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, ERP).

2. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly MIS reports (e.g., cash flow, receivables, payables, expense analysis).
  • Compare actual financial performance with budgets and forecasts.
  • Highlight variances and provide analysis for management decision-making.

3. Budgeting & Forecasting Support

  • Assist in preparing budgets and financial projections.
  • Track actual spending against budget and flag deviations.

4. Compliance & Audit Support

  • Ensure timely submission of statutory reports (GST, TDS, PF, ESI-related financial data).
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary MIS data.

5. Process Improvement

  • Identify gaps in reporting systems and suggest improvements.
  • Automate recurring reports using Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Macros) or BI tools.

6. Coordination

  • Liaise between accounts, finance, and management teams to ensure smooth data flow.
  • Collaborate with other departments to reconcile cross-functional data.
