Job Title: Engineer - Production (Cold Forging)
Location: Ludhiana
Salary: CTC ₹18,000 - ₹20,000 per month
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer specializing in Cold Forging to join our fasteners company in Ludhiana. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience in the automobile industry and hold a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering. This role is crucial for overseeing the production process and ensuring all cold forging operations are carried out efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the cold forging production line, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Monitor production output, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Conduct regular quality checks on cold-forged parts to ensure they meet required specifications
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the production process.
Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all machinery is in good working condition.
Train and mentor junior staff on cold forging techniques and safety procedures.
Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports for management.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Educational Background: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in production, with a focus on cold forging, preferably within the automobile or fasteners industry.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of cold forging processes, machinery, and quality control.
Soft Skills: Excellent leadership and team management skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication.
