Job Overview

Blowair is seeking a mid-level HVAC Design professional with a minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 6 years of relevant experience. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore Urban, where the selected candidate will be responsible for designing HVAC systems to meet client needs.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in HVAC Design (Mandatory skill).
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD for developing detailed design layouts is essential.
  • Expertise in performing accurate load calculations to ensure efficient system design.
  • Ability to design ductwork effectively, integrating architectural and space considerations.
  • Experience in energy modeling to maximize energy efficiency and sustainability.
  • Skilled in selecting appropriate equipment based on client requirements and budget.
  • Competence in specification writing to meticulously document design intentions and criteria.
  • Familiarity with ASHRAE standards for maintaining industry compliance and best practices.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design HVAC systems based on project specifications, layout plans, and load calculations.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to plan and execute design projects within stipulated timelines.
  • Perform site visits to assess existing systems and recommend design modifications where necessary.
  • Utilize AutoCAD for creating detailed HVAC design plans and technical drawings.
  • Conduct energy modeling and analysis to optimize energy consumption strategies.
  • Prepare technical specifications and ensure adherence to ASHRAE guidelines.
  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for equipment selection and procurement.
  • Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases of projects.
