Role Summary

The Cluster Collection Head will be responsible for managing and driving the collections portfolio for Business Loans, LAP, and Home Loans across multiple branches/locations. The role involves ensuring healthy asset quality, reducing delinquency, and leading a team to achieve collection targets within regulatory and organizational guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Portfolio Management

  • Manage end-to-end collections for BL, LAP, and HL portfolios within the cluster.
  • Monitor bucket-wise delinquency (0–30, 30–60, 60–90, 90+ DPD).
  • Control NPAs and improve overall asset quality.
  • Review and track daily MIS for collections performance.

2. Team Management

  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of Collection Officers, Area Collection Managers, and Field Executives.
  • Allocate monthly and weekly targets to the team.
  • Conduct regular field visits with the team to support collection efforts.

3. Recovery Operations

  • Handle soft, hard, and legal collections.
  • Manage skip tracing, field verification, and customer follow-up.
  • Coordinate with the legal team for Section 138, SARFAESI, arbitration, and repossession cases (if applicable).

4. Process & Compliance

  • Ensure all collection activities follow the RBI Fair Practice Code and company policies.
  • Handle customer escalations and resolve disputes professionally.
  • Maintain proper documentation and audit-ready records.

5. Coordination & Reporting

  • Closely work with the credit, sales, and operations teams for case reviews.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports for management.
  • Identify high-risk accounts and strategize recovery plans.
