Data Centre Operations Architect

Responsibilities

  • Deep knowledge of Windows Server, Linux/Unix, and VMware/Hyper-V environments.
  • Expertise in VMware vSphere Suite: Including vCenter Server, ESXi hosts, and vSAN for managing virtualized compute and storage environments.
  • VMware NSX: Experience with network virtualization, micro-segmentation, and software-defined networking (SDN) using NSX.
  • VMware vRealize Suite: Familiarity with vRealize Operations (vROps), vRealize Automation (vRA), and Log Insight for performance monitoring, automation, and log analytics.
  • Capacity Planning & Resource Optimization: Skilled in analyzing workloads, right-sizing VMs, and optimizing resource allocation across clusters.
  • Disaster Recovery & High Availability: Experience with VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM) and configuring HA/DRS clusters for business continuity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • Strong communicator - English in spoken and written form
  • Excellent hand ons and knowledge on Patch management, VMware, Hand scripting
  • Monitor and improve the performance and reliability of data centre infrastructure
  • Good exposure on capacity planning and overall hardware management skills Experience in ITSM
  • Excellent knowledge on observability standards.
