Job Description:

  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end book closures for all supply chain-related financial activities.
  • Record accruals for freight, customs duties, and other supply chain expenses in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across key supply chain functions, including logistics and warehousing.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of logistics, warehousing, and conversion costs to drive cost efficiency.
  • Evaluate and record provisions for slow-moving and obsolete inventory in line with inventory management policies.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Procurement, and Logistics teams to resolve discrepancies in:
  • Goods Receipt Note (GRN) vs. Invoice values
  • Vendor invoices vs. GSTR-2B entries
  • Review and reconcile GR/IR accounts, ensuring all open items are cleared before period-end closures.
  • Monitor and clear open items in vendor ledgers and customs duty accounts related to supply chain transactions.
  • Track vendor advances, monitor their aging, and ensure timely settlement against incoming invoices.
  • Perform regular vendor account reconciliations, focusing on OEMs, logistics partners, freight forwarders, and clearing agents.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX regulations, and audit requirements across all supply chain financial processes.
  • Prepare and publish monthly MIS reports and dashboards covering key supply chain KPIs for management review.
  • Manage vendor onboarding and due diligence in coordination with relevant internal stakeholders
