Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Test Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through manual and automated testing. You will collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to define test strategies, design test cases, and ensure delivery of high-quality applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
  • Perform manual testing (functional, regression, integration, UI/UX) and support automation testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Collaborate with development teams to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues.
  • Validate software against business and technical requirements.
  • Contribute to test automation framework design and create/maintain automated test scripts.
  • Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, and security standards.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in software testing (manual + automation).
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
  • Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or similar).
  • Proficiency in SQL for data validation and back-end testing.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).
  • Knowledge of bug-tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript) for automation.

Pay: ₹312, ₹511,480.49 per year
