Job Description :

- Experience in API testing using postman

- Strong knowledge of JavaScript scripting for test automation within Postman.

- Experience running automated API tests using Newman in command-line or CI environments.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, and API testing best practices.

- Experience working with JSON, XML, and related validation techniques.

- Experience in integrating API tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).

- Basic understanding of backend systems or databases.

- Experience with API mocking and contract testing.

- Exposure to version control systems like Git.

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development environments.

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with Product team and other QA Engineers to develop effective strategies, test plans and use cases.

- Execute test cases and analyze results. Evaluate product code according to specifications

- Create logs to document testing phases and defects

- Report defect to development teams

- Help troubleshoot issues and document ever-evolving workflows and issue resolutions.

- Conduct post-release or post-implementation testing

- Comfortably run and read automated test scripts, own prioritization of use cases to be scripted, contribute to code reviews, write medium-high complexity test scripts independently

- Serve as a point person for providing testing estimates and communicating test plan, report metrics and conduct reviews/audits to ensure that all project work and deliverables consistently meet Product Quality standards

- Support and mentor other Software Test Engineers

- Map business and technical requirements into test cases and/or test scripts

- Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices

- Data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities

- Reporting team/project metrics
