About the Role

The
DC Systems Engineer
will support the design and analysis of DC electrical systems for large-scale solar PV projects. The role involves preparing layouts, performing technical calculations, and coordinating with drafting, civil, and AC teams to ensure precise and integrated design deliverables.

Senior DC Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Design & Engineering


• Prepare PV string configurations, DC routing layouts, and interconnection diagrams.


• Perform cable sizing, voltage drop, and DC loss calculations.


• Develop DC protection and monitoring schemes in line with project requirements.


• Prepare drawings, design reports, and documentation packages.

Project Delivery


• Assist in DC system testing, FAT participation, and commissioning support.


• Coordinate inputs with vendors, drafting teams, and internal disciplines.


• Maintain and update standard templates, calculation sheets, and design procedures.

Collaboration & Support


• Interface with suppliers for equipment data and design validation.


• Support senior engineers in proposal development and feasibility assessments.

Candidate Profile

Education:
BE/BTech in Electrical.

Experience:
3–6 years in DC system design for utility-scale solar PV projects.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD and PVsyst.

Other Skills:
Good understanding of PV module interconnections, BOS components, and DC cabling; strong communication and teamwork abilities.
