Job Description:

  • To develop a suitable marketing strategy and action plan for the area.
  • To liaise with the brand/marketing team in order to ensure that regional and local marketing and promotional activity is consistent with brand image and values.
  • Develop and implement a suitable merchandising strategy for the market.
  • To develop and manage vendors for signage, merchandising equipment etc.
  • To liaise with the regional sales teams to ensure effectiveness of consumer promotions.
  • Go between field sales and marketing - converts brand strategy into sales implementation
  • Resolve issues and solve problems that may occur throughout the lifecycle of a campaign or product
  • Report marketing program milestones
  • Manage digital marketing efforts including website development, social media, SEO/SEM, list development and online advertising
  • Initiate, develop and execute new product launches, manage existing products and strive to develop new opportunities for growth and expansion
  • To form trade marketing calendar in collaboration with Zones and marketing
  • Planning and executing branding and promotional activation, sponsorship, events & exhibition, trade loyalty programs, distributor loyalty programs, Third party incentive programs - plans, payouts, performance bucketing etc to support sales & gain required monthly growth.
  • Developing strategic alliances & tie-ups with key industry bodies, other corporate brands including managing all sponsorship and award opportunities.
  • To track ongoing competitor activity in the market in order to lessen the reaction time and formulate new strategies for market development.
