Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Executive to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling end-to-end accounting processes, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report (R2R), preparation of financial statements, and conducting financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Procure-to-Pay (P2P):

  • Review, verify, and process purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments.
  • Maintain vendor master data and manage vendor queries.
  • Monitor aging of payables and coordinate with suppliers to resolve discrepancies.

Record-to-Report (R2R):

  • Prepare and post journal entries for month-end and year-end close.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Assist in accruals, provisions, and prepayments.
  • Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.

Financial Statements:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data for reporting.

Financial Analysis:

  • Perform variance analysis on budget vs. actuals.
  • Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs for management review.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial performance.
  • Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and cost control activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Strong understanding of P2P and R2R processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software ( SAP, and MS Excel.
  • Solid knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and a proactive mindset.
