Your New Role…
As a Payroll Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient management of UK and Ireland in-house payroll processes. You will be responsible for entering and maintaining employee payroll information in the payroll system, ensuring full compliance with UK and Ireland payroll legislation while upholding precision in all processes and audits.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Enter all payroll input data into the payroll system, including hires, terminations, fixed and variable changes, and absences for UK and Ireland payrolls.
  • Execute monthly UK and Ireland payrolls and one bi-weekly payroll, ensuring timely and accurate processing in collaboration with the WBD Payroll team based in London.
  • Collate, validate, and review payroll inputs across all employee groups.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for the WBD Payroll team (London), as well as internal teams including Managers, Employee Connection, Pre-Payroll, and P&C, for payroll inputs and employee queries.
  • Identify and help implement continuous process improvements.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and People & Culture (P&C) teams to ensure ongoing payroll compliance.
  • Compile regular and ad hoc statistical reports and support year-end processes and reporting activities.
  • Calculate overpayments and manage pay adjustments within the payroll system.

Qualifications & Experience…

Essential:

  • 1–3 years of experience working in payroll, with exposure to managing multiple high-volume payrolls.
  • Proven accuracy and attention to detail in payroll audits and compliance.
  • Proficient in English (both written and spoken), with strong communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of UK payroll legislation, Auto-Enrolment (AE) processes, pension regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and confident handling of payroll-related queries.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including handling payroll data and formulas.

Desirable:

  • Experience using ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
  • Familiarity with Workday payroll systems.

Shift Timings:- 3 PM to 11 PM IST
