Position Overview

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst (QA/BA) to join our offshore delivery team supporting one of our key financial clients. This role blends business analysis, quality assurance, and systems validation ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with both business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality financial products.

The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and a self-starter, capable of thriving in a collaborative, Agile environment with cross-functional global teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to analyze, document, and validate business processes and system workflows.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Create and execute manual test cases to validate new features, system integrations, and end-to-end business scenarios.
  • Conduct functional, regression, and UAT testing to ensure deliverables align with business and compliance standards.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to drive team efficiency.
  • Use tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA to manage user stories, test cases, bugs, and release tracking.
  • Support production issue triage, root cause analysis, and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA and BA processes for better delivery outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of combined experience as a Business Analyst and Quality Assurance Analyst.
  • Prior exposure to financial services, banking, or credit card systems (e.g., credit limits, credit scoring, or lending workflows).
  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology and experience working in distributed teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar project management tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask efficiently, and communicate effectively with global teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in credit card, consumer finance, or FinTech environments is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with SQL queries, data validation, or API testing preferred.
  • Experience in manual QA for UI/UX and business logic validation.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance processes within the financial sector is advantageous.
