About the Role

At Total Environment, we are committed to building homes that combine design, sustainability, and superior craftsmanship. We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer MEP to ensure the quality of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), HVAC, and Fire Protection Systems across our projects.

This role is ideal for professionals with strong technical knowledge in MEP systems who are passionate about ensuring compliance, precision, and excellence in execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Material Inspection & Testing: Conduct inspections and tests of MEP materials (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, FPS) to verify compliance with approved makes/brands, technical specifications, and quality standards.
  • Workmanship Inspection: Monitor and assess MEP work executed by contractors and subcontractors to ensure adherence to specifications and best practices.
  • Quality Inspection Protocol (QIP): Implement and oversee quality inspection protocols for MEP works on assigned projects.
  • Defect Identification & Rectification: Identify non-conformities in MEP installations and collaborate with site teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate inspection and test records, and prepare regular reports on MEP quality performance.
  • Training & Guidance: Provide on-site training and technical guidance to construction personnel on MEP quality requirements.
  • Quality Assessments: Conduct regular quality assessments of MEP systems and construction processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
  • 38 years of experience in QA/QC – MEP within real estate or building construction projects.
  • Hands-on knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection Systems.
  • Strong understanding of MEP material specifications, standards, and testing methods.
  • Experience in implementing quality inspection protocols (QIP) at project sites.
  • Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
