Intern – Strategic Communication & Development Projects

ResPublica Consulting is a multidisciplinary advisory firm engaged in strategic communication, sustainability initiatives, and development sector projects. As part of our ongoing expansion, we are inviting young professionals with curiosity, commitment, and clarity of thought to join us as Interns, assisting in various communication and project management assignments across our domains.

Position Overview

The Intern – Strategic Communication & Development Projects will support ongoing initiatives across sectors such as renewable energy, environment, social development, and governance.

The role involves research, documentation, coordination, and communication support, with opportunities to contribute directly to live client projects and campaigns.

This internship offers hands-on exposure to consulting workflows, proposal development, and field-level implementation activities — ideal for candidates seeking to bridge academic learning with professional practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing communication materials, reports, concept notes, and presentations.
  • Support project coordination activities, including documentation, data compilation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Conduct background research on thematic areas (e.g., sustainability, social impact, policy, or technology).
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of awareness campaigns, workshops, and CSR initiatives.
  • Maintain project files, timelines, and documentation in alignment with client or funding partner requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to the project or communication team, ensuring quality, timeliness, and accuracy.
  • Participate in internal brainstorming, field visits, and client review meetings where appropriate.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Recent graduate or postgraduate (0–1 year experience) in Communication / Journalism / Social Work / Environmental Studies / Engineering / or allied disciplines.
  • Strong writing, comprehension, and documentation skills in English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); knowledge of Canva, Adobe, or data visualization tools is an advantage.
  • High attention to detail, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines under supervision.
  • Interest in social impact, sustainability, and public policy communication.
  • Positive attitude, learning mindset, and willingness to take initiative in diverse work environments.
