Assistant Manager, Automation

Job Description:

The Assistant Manager, Automation will be based in Hyderabad. In this position, you will report to the Manager, Project Engineering. We are looking for experienced and talented software developer as Automation Engineer to help us develop software products to build out our ecosystem.  We have hundreds of thousands of devices in the field, controlling our solar trackers and advanced energy storage systems.  To realize our vision to be market leaders and trendsetters, we need disruptive innovations and conscious automation efforts. Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:

• Interact and collaborate with our stakeholders to identify automation needs and opportunities
• Experience using Autodesk Products AutoCAD, AutoCAD Mechanical, Inventor professional, AutoCAD vault Professional client.
• Consult design engineers for the further development of the CAD tools and handling
• Develop AutoCAD automation tools/ programs in LISP
• Expertise in Python coding
• Performance tuning and automation of applications
• Integrating user-oriented elements into different applications
• Working with Python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, etc
• Provide technical expertise in the planning phase of the potential solution
• Define, Document, and Evolve best practices.
• Set and strive toward reaching professional development goals

Here is some of what you'll need (required)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline with 10+ years of relevant work experience as a developer
• Gather requirement, design, build, deploy integrations using Python, pandas
• Python development skills with AWS Cloud C Experience in any ETL development like PL/SQL, My Sql, DataStage etc.
• Shell scripting experience
• Strong knowledge in code quality, performance and security
• Programming languages / environment (C#, .net).
• Passionate to create good design and usability
• Experience in working with teams spread across multiple locations and time zones.
• Must be willing to dive into software environments and technical issues.
• Strong leadership, time management, problem-solving skills, and resource administration.
• A strong desire and ability to learn quickly.
