About the Role:

We are seeking a QA Automation Manager who is passionate about quality, innovation, and building high-performing QA teams. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in test automation, hands-on experience in writing automation scripts, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of QA engineers to deliver high-quality software releases.

Role & responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the QA Automation team, ensuring timely and quality delivery of testing activities.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and scripts using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product, Development, and DevOps teams to define quality standards and ensure seamless test integration into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Identify test requirements, create and maintain automation test plans, and drive test coverage improvements.
  • Perform code reviews of automation scripts and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Mentor and train QA engineers on automation tools, scripting, and testing methodologies.
  • Continuously evaluate and adopt new automation tools, technologies, and best practices to improve the QA process.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of overall QA experience with minimum 4 years in automation testing.
  • Proficiency in automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or TestNG/JUnit.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of API testing tools (like Postman, Rest Assured) and performance testing tools (like JMeter).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Proven experience in leading a QA team and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with an ability to collaborate across functions.
