Job Overview

We are seeking a Finance and Accounts Executive for our Chennai headquarter. This is a mid-level, full-time position, ideal for candidates with a maximum of 6 years of work experience in finance and accounting. The role involves critical responsibilities in budgeting, reporting, and financial planning to support our business objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in accounting is mandatory for accurate financial record-keeping and reporting. (Mandatory skill)
  • Experience in planning, budgeting, and forecasting to help steer the company's financial future with strategic insights. (Mandatory skill)
  • Ability to generate comprehensive financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. (Mandatory skill)
  • Solid grasp on bookkeeping practices to maintain and organize accurate financial records.
  • Experience handling petty cash to ensure smooth small-scale transactions and day-to-day financial operations.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable intelligence.
  • Keen attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial documents and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly present financial information to stakeholders across the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate accounting records by ensuring transactions are recorded properly in line with financial policies and processes.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to provide insights into company performance and financial strategy.
  • Assist in the development and management of budgets, providing forecasts and updates as necessary.
  • Supervise daily bookkeeping tasks, ensuring that all transactions are well-documented and archived.
  • Manage petty cash accounts, ensuring that funds are disbursed and replenished according to organizational policies.
  • Support senior management with financial data required for decision-making, including capital budgeting and financial planning.
  • Conduct financial analysis and convey findings through reports to aid in strategic decision-making processes.
