Were Hiring : Database Administrator (PFMS Project Delhi)

Location : Delhi (Client Office)

Work Mode : 5 Days On-site (WFO)

Experience : Minimum 10 Years

Project Duration : Till July 2027

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team and contribute to the PFMS (Public Financial Management System) project for a government client in Delhi. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience with MS SQL Server (2016 and above), database architecture, performance tuning, and data security.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and administer all database environments of the PFMS project.

- Install, configure, and upgrade Microsoft SQL Server and related tools.

- Plan database infrastructure including memory, storage, and network requirements.

- Implement Always On, In-Memory, Distributed Availability Groups, Read Routing, and Row-Level Encryption.

- Develop, manage, and test backup and recovery strategies.

- Maintain data integrity, performance, and compliance with standards.

- Write and maintain database documentation and control access permissions.

- Migrate databases between on-premise and cloud environments.

- Monitor performance, generate reports, and troubleshoot database issues.

- Work in a 24x7 environment on rotational 8-hour shifts.

Required Qualifications

Education : BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/ME in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics & Telecommunication (Mandatory)

Experience :

years in MS SQL administration and database performance management

- Preferred Certifications (Any one or more) :

- Microsoft SQL Server (2012 & above) Configuration and Administration

- MCSE Data Platform / Business Intelligence or older MCDBA

- Oracle MySQL Database Developer / Administrator

- MongoDB Certified DBA / Developer

Key Skills :

- Microsoft SQL Server 2016

- Database Performance Tuning & Security

- Backup & Recovery Management

- Always On / In-Memory / Availability Groups

- Migration (On-Premise ? Cloud)

- Query Optimization & Reporting
