Role & Responsibility

  1. Packaging Development:

  2. Design and develop new packaging concepts for skincare, makeup, fragrances, etc.

  3. Collaborate with product development, marketing, and design teams to align on packaging goals.

  4. Innovate sustainable and user-friendly packaging solutions.

  5. Vendor Management:

  6. Source and liaise with packaging suppliers (bottles, jars, tubes, boxes, labels).

  7. Negotiate pricing, MOQs, timelines, and quality standards.

  8. Evaluate supplier performance and conduct audits if required.

  9. Technical Evaluation:

  10. Test packaging compatibility with product formulas (e.g., leakage, stability).

  11. Ensure packaging meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards (FDA, EU, etc.).

  12. Oversee tooling, prototyping, and sample development.

  13. Project Management:

  14. Manage timelines from concept to launch.

  15. Coordinate with supply chain, QA, and manufacturing teams.

  16. Track and report packaging development costs and lead times.

  17. Sustainability & Innovation:

  18. Integrate sustainable practices (e.g., recyclable, refillable packaging).

  19. Research industry trends and competitors for innovation insights.
