Job Overview: Seeking an experienced Quality Head with in-depth knowledge in Sheet Metal Fabrication ( CNC laser cutting, CNC bending, welding, powder coating). Responsibilities include QC, process improvement, customer communication, and compliance with ISO & IATF standards. Must have strong problem-solving skills, leadership, and experience in Lean management and new product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Improvement & Management: Lead and form teams within the Quality Department to ensure all processes are followed and improved continuously. Develop and implement cost-saving systems without compromising on quality. Conduct quality review meetings, internal audits, and process audits at supplier ends. Analyze and close process and final rejections with root cause analysis and Poka-Yoke implementation.
  • Quality Control & Assurance: Monitoring and controlling the quality of incoming raw materials, manufacturing processes and quality of finished goods as per customer specifications. Reduce rejection rates and customer complaints by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. Maintain and properly document quality records and documents. Ensure regular updating of competency matrix, training plans, training records, risks, opportunities etc.
  • Customer & Supplier Interaction: Communicate with customers to understand and fulfill their requirements. Ensure compliance with CA/PA, 8D countermeasures, and Why-Why analysis for non-conformities. Analyze and discuss vendor quality rejections, countermeasures taken, and vendor quality performance to drive continuous improvement. Follow-up on corrective and preventive actions for problems observed at the production line and supplier ends.
  • Standards & Compliance: Preparation and review of Process Flow Diagrams, Process FMEA's, Control Plans, in-process inspection reports, and Work Instructions based on new product development and corrective actions. Preparation of stage-wise inspection standards for products as per customer requirements. Conduct quality review meetings and ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • 10-15 years' experience in sheet metal fabrication, CNC Machines, powder Coating.
  • Strong communication & leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and lead quality initiatives.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong understanding of sheet metal processes – like heavy or light press, CNC bending/ press brake, welding, etc.
  • Knowledge of powder coating processes and quality control.
  • Preferred Languages: English, Hindi, Marathi.

Additional Notes: This position reports to the Top Management and is a key contributor to the overall success of the Machine Shop.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹600, ₹1,000,000.00 per year
