Job Title: Head of Quality / Quality Head (Preferred exp in Auto press parts)

Location: Chakan

Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control

Reports To: Managing Director / COO / Director of Operations

Exp: 2 + Years Job Summary: The Head of Quality is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing quality assurance and control systems to ensure that products or services meet consistent standards and customer expectations. This role leads the quality team and ensures compliance with regulatory and industry standards while driving a culture of continuous improvement.

Sr no.Key Responsibilities: 1Define and implement the organizations quality strategy, standards, systems, and procedures. 2Oversee all quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) operations across the production lifecycle. 3Ensure compliance with national and international standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, GMP, FDA, etc.). 4Monitor quality metrics and drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). 5Lead audits internal, customer, and regulatory and manage audit readiness and closure of findings. 6. 7Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Lean Quality. 8Develop and train the quality team and foster a culture of quality awareness across the organization. 9Manage supplier quality and incoming material inspection processes. 10Ensure robust documentation, traceability, and control of quality records and reports. 11Prepare periodic quality performance reports for senior management.

Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field years of experience in quality management, with 45 years in a leadership role. 3In-depth knowledge of quality standards, tools, and methodologies (e.g., 7QC tools, FMEA, SPC, MSA). 4Experience in quality systems implementation and managing audits (internal, customer, third-party). 5Industry-specific certifications preferred (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt, CQE, ISO Lead Auditor). 6Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing customer quality requirements.
