Position Overview
The Forex Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing all foreign exchange operations of the company, including currency risk management, forex trading, market analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. The role requires strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and expertise in global currency markets to optimize forex strategies and safeguard the organization against currency volatility.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies for effective management of foreign exchange exposure and hedging.
Monitor currency markets and provide regular updates, forecasts, and recommendations to management.
Execute spot, forward, and options trades in line with company policy.
Manage liquidity and ensure efficient utilization of forex resources across markets.
Maintain strong relationships with banks, brokers, and financial institutions for competitive forex rates and services.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management frameworks.
Analyze economic indicators, central bank policies, and global financial developments affecting currency markets.
Prepare periodic reports on forex performance, exposures, and hedging results for senior management.
Provide guidance to internal departments on forex-related transactions and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred).
Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or equivalent are an advantage.
Proven experience (5+ years) in forex management, treasury, or trading within a bank, investment firm, or multinational corporation.
Strong knowledge of forex markets, derivatives, and risk management techniques.
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting tools, and treasury management systems.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage external counterparties.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure.

Cost savings and value addition through competitive forex deals.
Compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
