Job description :

A Motion Graphic Designer is responsible for creating engaging, visually appealing animations, video graphics, and multimedia content that communicates a brand's message or story. This role requires a blend of artistic creativity, technical skill, and an understanding of visual communication principles. Motion graphic designers collaborate with other creatives, such as video editors, producers, and marketing teams, to deliver high-quality visuals that can be used across multiple platforms like television, websites, social media, and advertising campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:
Motion Graphics Design:
  • Conceptualize and create visually compelling animations and graphics.
  • Design and animate 2D/3D motion graphics for various media types (digital, web, social media).
  • Produce storyboards, rough cuts, and style frames to communicate ideas.
  • Integrate visual elements (text, logos, and icons) into animations, adhering to branding guidelines.
Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with the creative team, including designers, art directors, and producers, to understand project goals and client needs.
  • Communicate design ideas clearly and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
  • Respond to client feedback and adjust designs and animations accordingly.
Video Editing:
  • Edit and assemble video footage into cohesive and polished final products.
  • Work with audio and visual components to sync with animations, ensuring smooth and coherent narratives.
Software & Tools:
  • Proficient in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Familiarity with 3D modeling software, compositing tools, and motion tracking techniques is a plus.
Quality Control & Project Management:
  • Ensure the final output meets technical specifications and is delivered on time.
  • Manage multiple projects with varying deadlines while maintaining high quality.
  • Optimize assets and video files for different platforms.
Brand Consistency:
  • Ensure all motion graphics align with the brand's visual identity and voice.
  • Maintain consistency in design style, color palette, and typography throughout projects.
Trend Awareness & Innovation:
  • Stay updated on current design trends, motion graphics techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Introduce innovative design elements or ideas to keep content fresh and engaging.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Multimedia, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in motion graphics design, including a strong portfolio showcasing various types of animation and video work.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
  • Strong knowledge of 2D and 3D animation techniques and principles.
  • Excellent understanding of video editing and compositing.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow precise directions.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to take constructive criticism.
  • Creativity, problem-solving skills, and a passion for visual storytelling.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with 3D design and animation software (Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya, etc.).
  • Familiarity with sound design and the ability to integrate music and sound effects.
  • Basic understanding of web design or UI/UX principles.
