Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior L&D Specialist to play a key role in designing, delivering, and enhancing training programs that drive employee development across all levels of the organization. This individual will work closely with both business and technology teams to ensure that learning initiatives align with the company's strategic objectives. Assigned to a specific division or department, the Senior L&D Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the quality and relevance of training programs in line with our established goals. This role is vital in fostering individual career growth and contributing to the overall success of the company.

Role Responsibilities:

  • L&D Coordination & Operations: Adapt to business changes, assessing their impact on the curriculum and realigning processes accordingly.
  • Market analysis : Should be performing Market analysis on the Technology trends and provide insights to Leaders to plan for the future.
  • IDP and training programs: Should analyse the IDP and recommend training programs to Managers/Leaders.
  • Vendor Management: Should have a panel of vendors with negotiated prices, to provide the relevant training programs.
  • Training programs : Should be able to handle basic training programs independently.
  • Soft Skills Program Design & Delivery: Develop, implement, and evaluate soft skills training programs focused on communication, teamwork, leadership, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, time management, and critical thinking.
  • Customizing Learning Resources: Tailor learning resources to meet the individual needs of employees, enhancing their development throughout their career lifecycle.
  • Managing Training Hours: Strategically manage and allocate approved training hours each week to optimize learning outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for continuous improvement in training programs and processes, ensuring they align with the evolving business needs.
  • Collaboration with Business Leaders: Work closely with business vertical leaders to align training programs with strategic objectives and business goals.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data to track employee progress, inform career development discussions, and identify talent that may benefit from additional training.
  • Support Global Initiatives: Collaborate on global L&D initiatives to ensure scalability and strategic alignment.
  • Technology Integration: Assist in integrating technology solutions to improve learning workflows and support learning solutions across the organization.
  • Content Development : Create training content, materials, and resources that cater to various learning styles, ensuring the content is practical, accessible, and aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Maintain and update learning records, including learning hours, attendance, and feedback.

Position Specific:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Experience designing and developing technical training programs, including eLearning and instructor-led training (ILT).
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid team environment, collaborating across functions, geographies, and cultures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to present and build consensus.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Knowledge of training evaluation methods and metrics.
  • Conduct regular training needs analyses to identify skills gaps and development opportunities across teams, departments, and levels.
  • Curate, update, and maintain training materials, resources, and digital content. Ensure all materials are easily accessible and aligned with the latest organizational needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Full time bachelor's degree in human resources, Education, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 6 years with specific L&D experience of 4 years.
  • Experience working with various L&D frameworks and global talent development strategies.
  • Strong Presentation and Facilitation Skills and the ability to deliver sessions using various techniques of training.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and other digital tools will enable you to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of your training programs.
  • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS office Suite (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
  • Strong background in designing learning strategies, instructional design, and training delivery.

Preferred:

  • Professional certifications such CPTM, ATD, CIPD, or any relevant L&D certification.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms, digital training tools, and e-learning development.
  • Knowledge of learning principles, content development, and blended learning methods.
  • Technological proficiency (especially in MS Excel, Power BI, LMS – Workday Learn).
  • Experience in a corporate or professional services environment is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and facilitate training sessions for extended periods of time.
  • Comfort with setting up and using presentation equipment (e.g., projectors, microphones, and AV equipment) for training sessions.
  • Flexibility to adapt to various physical and virtual learning environments.
  • Ability to use a computer for extended periods, including creating training materials, using digital tools, and delivering virtual sessions.
