We are seeking a Student Success & Engagement Associate who can support students with onboading and using ULIO features effectively.
Overview
The Student Success & Engagement Specialist is responsible for ensuring students receive the support, guidance, and resources they need to succeed academically, professionally, and personally. This role focuses on proactive engagement, relationship-building, and continuous improvement of the student experience.
Key Responsibilities :
Student Support & Engagement :
● Serve as the primary point of contact for student inquiries, concerns, and needs.
● Build strong relationships with students to foster engagement, retention, and academic success.
● Conduct regular check-ins via calls, messages, or meetings to monitor progress and provide support.
● Organize and facilitate student engagement activities, workshops, and events.
Academic & Career Guidance:
● Assist students in understanding program requirements, timelines, and academic expectations.
● Provide guidance on career resources, internships, and professional development opportunities.
● Collaborate with academic and career services teams to ensure students receive holistic support.
Issue Resolution:
● Identify early signs of disengagement or challenges and intervene proactively.
● Address student complaints or concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
● Work closely with faculty, operations, and support teams to resolve academic or administrative issues.
Data Tracking & Reporting:
● Maintain accurate records of student interactions, progress, and engagement metrics.
● Analyze student feedback and performance trends to recommend improvements.
● Prepare periodic reports on student satisfaction, retention, and outcomes.
Program Coordination:
● Communicate key program updates, deadlines, and requirements to students.
● Support onboarding and orientation for new students to ensure a smooth start.
● Assist in quality assurance by gathering feedback and improving the student lifecycle experience.
Experience (Required):
● 2 – 3.5 years of experience in student support, academic advising, counseling, or a related student services role. Not considering freshers at this time.
● Experience working directly with students in an educational environment (schools, colleges, training institutes, or e- learning platforms).
● Familiarity with student engagement activities, retention strategies, and academic support processes.
● Experience handling student queries, resolving concerns, and providing guidance.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Bachelor's/Masters degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
● Experience in student mentorship programs, orientation support, or extracurricular/student engagement activities.
● Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) or student information systems (SIS).
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse student populations.
● Experience in event coordination, workshops, or student community building.
● Certification or training in counseling, academic coaching, or career guidance (added advantage).
