Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing mechanical systems and components for various projects.
  • Conducting research and analysis to determine the feasibility, performance, and cost-effectiveness of mechanical designs.
  • Creating detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with other disciplines.
  • Performing calculations, simulations, and tests to validate and optimise mechanical designs.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues during the development, testing, and production phases.
  • Participating in design reviews and providing technical expertise and recommendations.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations in all mechanical designs.
  • Managing and coordinating projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Keeping up-to-date with advancements in mechanical engineering technology and techniques.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Technology or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical/Automobile/Mechanical and Automation Engineering

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in product development
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Strong analytical capability
  • Good knowledge of SolidWorks 3D and 2D
  • Knowledge of GD&T will be an added advantage.
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
  • Motivation, initiative, communication and presentation skills, enjoy working in emerging teams
